Heavy metals in crops and Chinese medicinal materials have attracted more and more attention, especially after the report of  "chromium in rice". Environmental governance has emphasized "detoxification of polluted soils" in recent years, and traditional wet digestion methods, with time-consuming sample preparation, have failed to meet growing needs. Such situation is asking for rapid detection of heavy metals in soil. PURERAY X-ray fluorescence spectrometers are able to quantitatively analyze trace heavy metals such as chromium, nickel, arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead in the soil and solid waste.
